Jaap de Boer
From 1980 till 1999 Jaap de Boer was joint owner of INTA Communicatie Trainingen BV based in The Netherlands. The company was active in managerial communication training, project management and sales & marketing, reorganizations of companies in Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia.
As a Manager Special Programs he was responsible from 1980 till 1995 for the design and organisation of training courses to support Dutch companies abroad. A main achievement was the dispatch of Philips DAP (Domestic Appliances and Personal Care), employees, managers and their families to Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, South Korea, Eastern and Southern Europe and Brazil.
From 1995 till 1999 he was Manager INternational Training Activities (INTA) and responsible for development and organisation of Marketing & Sales programs in Ukraine, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Austria, Germany, the Benelux countries, UK, Hungary, Indonesia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
From 1999 till 2002 he was General Manager of INTA Communicatietrainingen BV. He was responsible for the business dealing with 140 national and international clients and managed more than 120 professional trainers and international consultants.
In 2004 he became Business Development Consultant for VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) and worked for BDFK (Business Development Foundation Kostanai) and Tacis
In 2005 Jaap founded TOO INTA (International Agro Trade Activities) in Kostanai, Kazakhstan. Moreover, he is co-founder of NKCF (North Kazakhstan Credit Fund), a NGO in micro-finance for the rural area.
From 2005 onwards Jaap de Boer has been active as a senior consultant in special (investment) projects throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was involved in projects with international organisations such as European Union, USAID, CAMFA, CILC, and Cordaid, Oikocredit.
Furthermore he became local representative of PUM (agency of the Dutch government for international development assistance) in North and East Kazakhstan.
Jaap de Boer holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. His mother tongue is Dutch while he is fluent in French, English, German and Russian. He has also a good command of Italian and passive knowledge of other roman languages.
